For those who have a working knowledge of their device and want to learn about new apps. Whether you’re looking for new games, music, or books, we’ll find an app and share it with you. Grief and Loss Support Group


This group is for anyone suffering a significant loss. Sharing experiences with others can often help us manage the pain that is a natural part of grieving. Facilitated by VINE’s Community Living Coaches Joyce Kolbet and Saint Peter Community and Senior Centers. Wednesday, May 24, June 22, July 26 and August 23, 10am – 12pm, Saint Peter Community Center Room 215. Please call Gabriela at the Senior Center with any questions, 934-0667.

Medicare/Insurance Counseling Help – 1st Thursday of each month

From 2:30–4:00 p.m. come to the senior center for information and one-on-one assistance on Medicare and insurance questions. No appointment needed. No charge. Sponsored by MN River Area on Aging.

Bi-Monthly Newsletter

The Senior Center distributes a monthly newsletter. If you would like to be on the mailing list, please call (507) 934-0667

P.A.L.S. (Partners in Active Living for Seniors) - exercise classes designed for older adults               

  • Sessions run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-11 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose room 310A at the St. Peter Community Center

  • $25 per person payable to Nicollet County Public Health. Call 934-0667 to register. 

  • Please see the newletter for current dates and fees.

2000 Club

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  Join Gabriela mornings before P.A.L.s on the gym track and add 2000 steps to your day.
There are roughly 2000 steps in one mile.


Senior Citizen Community Programs: 


Senior Nutrition Program

Senior Dining is located at Park View Manor, 1010 South 4th Street at 11:45 am. Anyone over 60 years of age and/or spouse is invited to make a contribution. Suggested contribution guideline is $2.50 - $3.50. Reservations must be made a day in advance by calling (507) 931-8007 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Transportation is available if needed.

Meals on Wheels Program

Meals are available to people 60 years of age or older for a contribution. Suggested contribution guideline is $2.50 - $3.50. Call Rosie at Parkview Manor, 934-8850, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to schedule a meal.

Nicollet County Senior Transportation & Senior Programs

Rides are provided to those in need of transportation to medical appointments. Call 934-7227, at least two days prior to needing a ride, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday. Donations are accepted for this service which is supported in part by the Greater Mankato Area United Way.

Mature Driving/AARP Driver's Safety

Call Community Education at (507) 934-3048 for more information.

NAPS (Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors)

Call 1-800-365-0270 to prequalify. Pick up the food at the Senior Center on the first Thursday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m.

High School Activity Passes

Passes for Saint Peter Public School activities are available at any high school events admission desk. These passes are for home games only (hockey games not included). Persons 65 years or older are eligible.
